Quiet Bay

With this painting you too can experience the tranquility of this breathtaking coastal landscape that I was privileged to enjoy while living in Combe Martin, Devon, UK - although in the summer months the small seaside village was filled with holidaymakers! 

On this particular day though, there was just the lone white boat drifting on the calm waters and a few people walking along the pathway and I wanted to capture the vivid blue ocean, rugged cliffs, and lush green hills and the sense of calm felt when listening to the gentle waves.
