The beautiful and historic village of Clovelly on the North Devon coast of the UK, with it's steep cobbled street where in the past donkeys were used to bring goods to the inhabitants, is such an inspiring place where you feel like you have stepped back in time.  The donkeys are still a major attraction of the village and nowadays enjoy the attention from the many children and tourists.

After walking down the very steep cobbled street and admiring the cottages, perhaps stopping for a traditional Devon Cream Tea at the Cottage Tea Rooms, you arrive at the harbour with it's centuries old quay, The Red Lion Hotel, Crazy Kate's Cottage and RNLI station.  This is a scene of the harbour looking back towards the village where I especially loved the boats lined up in a row :)
