Gorgeous cocktails mixed by Maestro Mixologist Harp Mann are the inspiration of my fundraising challenge for the NHS. Paan Fashioned is Number 32/100 in this series of paintings with 20% of the proceeds of the artwork donated to the NHS (or a charity of your choice). Do you know that Paan is an Indian snack - either sweet or savoury - that is wrapped in Betel leaf? Well, Harp has used the Betel leaf for the garnish of this cocktail which also has Paan Liquor in the mix and Four Roses Bourbon among the ingredients. I love the glossy dark green colour of the Betel leaf and of course, with my favourite flower the rose in the garnish as well, it was without a doubt that I was captivated to paint it!
The original artwork comes ready framed in a modern contemporary white frame along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Please Note: This painting was part of the 100th Westward Ho! & Bideford Art Society's Annual Exhibition in 2022. Catalogue Number: 29
