At the top of the village of Clovelly on the UK North Devon coast you get a glimpse of the village rooftops and the sea beyond. The excitement of continuing down the very steep cobbled street to become immersed in the village itself with it's beautifully preserved cottages, to explore the history and be taken back in time, is palpable.
I felt invigorated by seeing the sea in the distance with the far shoreline of Bideford Bay and loved the rooftops and chimneys of the cottages as they cascaded down to the harbour!
The painting is framed in a modern 'floating/tray' lime wood frame. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
